EVALUATION AND PROMOTION.

  • The School is Affiliated to CBSE, Delhi , the AISSE Examinations are conducted by the Board usually in September and March every year for Class IX and X .
  • The promotion examination / evaluation for other classes is being carried out by the School through Internal System of Evaluation.
  • Promotion depends on the child's performance through out the year and not only on marks secured in the final examination.
  • For the purpose of evaluation, the school conducts Fomative and Summative assessment. These are taken into account for the Promotion Exams.
  • To secure promotion one must obtain 40 out of 100 marks in all the subjects. The Promotion of a student to the higher class implies that the student has successfully learnt a prescribed syllabus
  • Anyone found using unfair means in examination be debarred from further examination and will be declared to have failed
  • In no case, however, will a student be allowed to repeat the same class for a third time. A student who fails twice in three consecutive years must be withdrawn.
  • No pupil will be allowed to sit for the promotion examination if the attendance during the year is below 80%.
  • Absence from examination without sufficient reason is a breach of discipline and will be considered tantamount to failure.
