Dear Flowerians,
Each one of you in your uniqueness, vibrant presence, radiant smiles, joyful interactions and admirable performance within the class room and outside is a world of your own to be explored further until you discover your true self.
As I write this message many luminaries flash through my mind’s screen. One of the unforgettable personalities who stands tall at all times and never fail to inspire people of all walks of life is Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam, a great friend of the young. Hailing from a humble background he walked his way to greatness becoming one of the best scientists of India. When Chandrayaan-3 touched the moon many people remembered this unmatched genius who took forward the Indian civilian space program to new heights. He seized every opportunity to ignite the minds of his young friends across the country and to challenge them to dream big and become proud citizens of the country and the world.
P. V. Sindhu is another ideal role model for you dear young students. She was the first Indian to become the Badminton World Champion (2019) and the second individual athlete to win two successive medals at the Olympic Games. Her never die attitude and hard work brought her to the zenith of glory. There is a long list of such ordinary people who made themselves extra ordinary, telling the world through their lives that there is nothing impossible for those who decide to dream big.
Never stop your inexorable race towards conquering the best and achieving your unique greatness. Discern your hearts’ dreams and pursue them relentlessly while discovering and developing your talents and abilities to make your life more fulfilling and beautiful for yourselves and for the enrichment and progress of the world. I am confident that all of you together with your teachers can overcome any challenge, walk any terrain to achieve the seemingly impossible to take our world ahead along the road of growth and prosperity making it a home for all, a paradise on earth from where will spring forth myriads of voices raised in unison with grace and beauty praising the Creator of all.
Dear Flowerians, young and powerful, let me tell you again, ‘you are amazing, brilliant, and innovative to become catalysts of change that will make the society shine brightly radiating its glorious achievements won at your hands. You are the future of the world. You have the power to make a difference in the way people think and act, to make the spark in their eyes shine with love. You have the potential to dream what no one has ever dreamt and achieve what you dream of. You have the power to inspire and lead others. You have the wisdom to learn from your mistakes and grow. You have within you the kindness to help others and spread joy.
You are not alone in your journey. You have your parents, teachers, mentors, friends and role models who support you and guide you. You have your community, culture, and country to celebrate you and value you. You have the mother earth and the entire cosmos to sustain you and protect you.
While you are here in the school do your best. We are here to assist you. Even after you move out of the portals of your Alma Mater, continue to remain an inspiration and role model for all people. The footprints you leave behind will have many a tale to narrate how you dreamt big and pursued it passionately and how you have influenced and shaped others to become better learners and leaders and how you lifted those with difficulties and doubts and helped them to attain success in life.
You are not limited by circumstances. You have the opportunity to explore new horizons and discover new possibilities. You have the freedom to express yourself and share your opinions. You have the choice to act with integrity and honesty.
Failures can happen in life. But you are not defined by your failures. You have the resilience to bounce back and be on the road to glory. Be confident and believe in your own worth and tell yourself, ‘I am strong, I am powerful, I am worthy, I belong’ and walk ahead on the road to excellence and greatness.
